Criminal damage has been caused to the cash machine outside the HSBC Bank at The Strand in Saundersfoot.

Police are investigating the incident which they believed occurred between 6 am and 9 am on Wednesday morning.

"It appears excessive force was used to cause the damage which might have been heard by near-by residents," said PC Mike Smith, the officer in the case.
