The Harriet Davis Trust has just received a donation of £1,000 from the Welsh Hospitals and Health Services Association's charity fund, to help with the purchase of specialist equipment for its holiday homes for disabled children.
Kath Roberts-Jones, WHA chair, said: "We have a long history of supporting health related organisations in Wales and we are pleased to be able to support the Harriet Davis Trust again."
Over the past 40 years the WHA has made donations to charities totalling over £250,000.
Elizabeth Sleight, development manager for the trust, said: "We are so grateful to the WHA, as we urgently need a replacement bath in our Giltar View property in Tenby. Maintaining all the high-dependency equipment in our houses is a big cost to the trust, so this gift could not come at a better time."
