Sir,
On behalf of all the boys on the station, please let me thank everyone involved in yet another successful Firemen's Carnival. We would like to thank everyone who helped with the Open Day held on the station. There are too many to name individually, so please let me express our gratitude to you all.
Please could we also thank all who contributed raffle prizes and donations, the businesses who loaned lorries and the clubs/groups who participated in the carnival, not forgetting the walking classes - you all looked fantastic.
A big thank you must go to our sponsors, Kiln Park, who every year kindly sponsor us, not forgetting the assistance of the local police in the smooth running of our procession.
As you can see, without the help and co-operation from many, we would not be able to organise such an enjoyable and successful carnival, which keeps visitors and locals eagerly looking forward to one of the major calendar events.
Finally, before I finish, let me thank all the boys on the station for their support, and I know they will be relieved that I won't be nagging them, or anyone else, anymore!
