Kingsmoor Sports Club was the venue on Friday for the choosing of this year's Begelly/Kilgetty Carnival Queen and her attendant. Seen in the picture are Natasha Evans, Carnival Queen, and Gabby Butler, her attendant, both looking delighted at being selected. Last year's Carnival Queen, Grace Bevan, was also present to congratulate and hand over her sash to this year's winner. The carnival and the fourth 'Bulldog Mile Parade and Display' of historical vehicles will both be held on the same day this year, August 6. The vehicle parade will have an earlier start of 12.30 pm and the carnival pocession a later start of 5 pm, both ending as usual on Kingsmoor sports field. More details will be published later.
