A VERY caring Katie Collins, of Pembroke, decided to raise funds for the Pembroke and District Macmillan Cancer Relief Committee by holding a giant raffle and a quiz social evening at the Power Station Club on Easter Monday.

Many business people in Pembroke and her colleagues at Somerfield Stores, Pembroke, were greatly supportive and with the help of the manager, Mr. Paul Morris, the sum of £1,175 was raised for Macmillan Cancer Relief.

Katie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Collins, of Paperchase House, Pembroke, and niece of Sylvia Davies, chairman of Pembroke and District Macmillan Committee.
