Members of Carew Wesley Youth Club had a great evening on Friday - crabbing. The sun shone as the excited 42 children dropped their lines into the millpond. Very soon there were shouts of 'I've got one' echoing around, shortly followed by lots of 'ouches!' The count-up followed and a pleasing 165 crabs were caught and gently returned to the water. Not bad! Better than the nine caught last time! As the sun went down over Carew Castle, they all trundled back to Youth Club for well-earned refreshments where talk of the 'monsters' that 'got away' echoed around the hall! Tonight (Friday), there is no Youth Club due to rehearsals for Sunday School anniversary concert.
