Tonight (Friday), Youth Club members and leaders are asked to meet at the Carew Memorial Hall at 6 pm for the switching on of the Christmas lights. After this event, the Youth Club members will be carol singing for the National Children's Home in the Carew Cheriton area, and later at the Carew Sports Club.
Sunday services: Sunday School 11 am. Mr. Mervyn Palmer will conduct the afternoon service at 2.30 pm, and Rev. Alan Jenkins will conduct the evening service at 6 pm, during which the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be administered and a retiring love offering taken.
The second Advent Study will be held in the Youth Centre on Tuesday at 7 pm, and will be conducted by Rev. Alan Jenkins.
At last Friday's 'Carols by Candlelight', the collection taken raised £272 for the young people in the youth clubs of Bulawayo Zimbabwe.
We are glad to report that chapel member Mrs. Daisy Bottomley is now making a good recovery after her operation at Moriston Hospital. Members surround her and Doug with their love and prayers.
The chapel is open each day, 10 am to 4 pm, for prayer and meditation, and for anyone needing prayerful support, a prayer sheet is open in the chapel porch.
We also welcome all to visit the chapel to see it beautifully decorated for Christmas, by the lady members.
A warm invitation is extended to all, to share in the Christmas celebrations to be held in the churches and chapels of the parish of Carew.
