The Youth Club has now closed for its summer break, but last Friday and Saturday will long be remembered by club members and parents, firstly the Youth Club sponsored walk which raised well in excess of £700, the presentation to Rev. Anthony Gregory for 14 years of wonderful service to the Youth Club, the disco led by Russell, then on the Saturday the second canoe instruction course held at Cardigan and kindly sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Richard Scourfield, of Bartlets Engineering. Full reports of these activities will be given by club leader Joe Hicks. Sunday services: Sunday School 11 am; Mr. Mervyn Palmer will conduct worship at 2.30 pm and Mr. John Davies will conduct worship at 6 pm. Two of our faithful members, Doug and Daisy Bottomly, are in hospital at Withybush. We surround them with our love and prayers and wish them a speedy return home. The chapel is open for prayer and meditation each day, 10 am to 6 pm. A prayer sheet is open in the chapel porch for anyone needing prayerful support. A warm Christian invitation is extended to all, to share in church and chapel services held in the parish of Carew.
