Tonight (Friday) and weather permitting, the Youth Club members and leaders together with family and friends will take part in the club's annual sponsored walk. Last Friday, the walk had to be postponed because of the severe weather conditions, as most of the walk from Carew to West Williamston was under water! All the walkers are asked to meet at the Youth Centre from 6 o'clock onwards. On their return to the Youth Centre, a first class barbecue will await them, with disco music provided by Russell, and during the evening, Mrs. Eva Rich will come along to present to the club, the framed photo of the puppy guide dog. Sunday services: There will be a family service at 11 am, led by Sharon Graham and members of the Sunday School. Because of the morning service, there will be no afternoon service. The evening service at 6 pm will be conducted by a visiting minister, Pastor Bill Stewart. The chapel is open for prayer and meditation each day, 10 am to 6 pm. A warm Christian invitation is given to all to share in church and chapel services held in the parish of Carew.
