Tonight (Friday), Youth Club members, leaders and any friends who would like to join the yearly sponsored walk around the villages of West Williamston and Carew Newton, are asked to meet in the Youth Centre at 6.30 pm.
At the end of the three-mile walk, everyone is invited back for refreshments at the Youth Centre. All money raised will go to improving the facilities at the Youth Centre, where 40 to 50 young people meet each week.
The crabbing evening at the Mill Pond was a great success last Friday. Many large crabs were caught and one even succeeded in nipping Georgia Murphy's finger, and drawing blood.
Sunday services: Sunday School 11 am. Mr. John Daniel will conduct worship at 2.30 pm, and a visiting minister to Carew, Rev. Elizabeth Hodgkiss, will conduct worship at 6 pm. During this service, the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be administered, and a retiring love offering taken. The Sunday School anniversary rehearsals will take place on Thursday, young people at 6.30 pm, adults at 7.30 pm.
The chapel is open each day, 10 am to 6 pm, for prayer and meditation, and a prayer sheet is open in the chapel porch for anyone needing prayerful support.
A warm Christian invitation is extended to all, to share in church and chapel services held in the parish of Carew.
