Tonight (Friday) there will be no Youth Club, because of the Easter break, but many members will be attending the slide lecture in the Carew Memorial Hall on 'Carew over the past 100 years'. Admission is £2, children 50p, which includes refreshments. Proceeds are for the Carew Cheriton Control Tower Restoration Fund.
The funeral of Mr. Jack Thomas, of Milton, will take place in the chapel today (Friday) at 2.30 pm. Jack was of a very quiet disposition and much loved by his daughters Elaine and Meryl and their families. Members extend to them all their sympathy, love and prayers in their time of sadness.
Sunday services: Sunday School 11 am. Rev. Anthony Gregory will lead worship at 2.30 pm and during this service, Eva Brock, daughter of Huw and Gill, will be baptised into the chapel family. Mr. David Wheeler will lead the worship at 6 pm.
The chapel is open each day for prayer and meditation, 10 am to 6 pm, and a prayer sheet is open in the porch for anyone needing prayerful support.
A Christian welcome is extended to all, to share in church and chapel services held in the parish of Carew.
