The Carew and Cresswell Quay Committee of Cancer Research UK held a meeting recently to discuss further events.
Mrs. Mary Scourfield paid a tribute to Mrs. Rosemary Adams, who recently passed away. Rosemary had been secretary for many years and had great satisfaction in helping others organise events. Of a very happy and cheerful disposition, she will be sadly missed by all.
At the Martletwy Farmers Show, the committee had a marquee with stalls and a raffle, and with the public's generosity raised the magnificent total of £1,342 for Cancer Research. Thanks go to all for their support of a very worthy cause.
