Sir,
I wonder if there are any of your readers who could help. We stayed in farm accommodation for many years, but it has been sold. I am a Tenby native. My dad had The Lollipop Shop in Tudor Square. My mum Peggy was a teacher for many years and my grandad was a dentist in Warren Street -Tom Brazier. I like to return at least twice a year and now have nowhere to stay.
We are two single older ladies. We have several dogs (pictured above) who sleep in our VW Transporter. They eat outsisde the van, so do not come into the accommodation. They are well behaved and do not roam about, but need walking.
I love to return home and spend time wandering on beaches and countryside, checking out the town, seeing what’s changed, definitely going fishing (we always seem to catch mackerel). It’s great to be on the harbour again. Our flat overlooked the harbour while I was growing up, so I know it in every season.
I do hope we can find somewhere to stay. Tenby calls to me all the time. I really enjoy Tenby Through Time on Facebook; lovely pictures old and new.
Jan Regemortel.
