A bit of advance warning to all singers out there, this September there is a chance to sing in the Tenby Arts Festival Choir under the direction of Will Dawes, a specialist in ancient music, in the beautiful surroundings of Tenby's own mediaeval church, St. Mary's. Will Dawes is the conductor of Bath Choral Society and he will be joined by well-known soprano Sarah Benbow. Other soloists, to accompany and work with the choirs, will be confirmed soon. Haydn's 'Creation' is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 20, providing a grand opening to the Tenby Arts Festival 2014. Tuition and rehearsal will start at 2 pm with a break for tea which will be served at the church. The performance is at 7 pm in St. Mary's Church, Tenby. There will be a charge of £7 for all participants and a refundable deposit of £5 for the sheet music.
