The Caldey Island Fete will be held this Wednesday, with a chance for the public to enjoy the day's fund-raising activities at the lighthouse gardens. The day will feature plenty of fun for all the family, with live music, line dancing, treasure island, lucky dip, coconut shy, children's games, bric-a-brac and a few more surprises lined up. There will also be raffles taking place on the hour, starting from 12.30 pm, as well as a number of refreshment stalls, including Caldey organic beefburgers and beef baguettes, Pembrokeshire hot dogs, Welsh cakes, scones and many more home bakes. The first boats on the day leave from Tenby at 10 am, with all proceeds raised from the event going to Guide Dogs for the Blind and Pembrokeshire Heart Foundation.
