Baking over 2,000 tasty Welsh cakes has raised £272 for the Noah's Ark Appeal. Elly Craig, Winifred Hewlings, Ruth Mardon and Brenda Harris, who make Welsh cakes hot off the griddles at St. Johns Church, Tenby, every Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, donated last week's takings to the fund set up to build the new Children's Hospital for Wales. Chairman of the Pembrokeshire Appeal Fund, Clr. Mrs. Rosemary Hayes, is seen here receiving the cheque from Elly, Winifred, Ruth and Brenda.
