Cadw's summer events programme for 2007 is in full swing with some of South Wales' most famous castles and abbeys providing dramatic backdrops to romantic open-air theatre, medieval displays, battles and living history recreations. The Four Freyndes will entertain at Laugharne Castle on Saturday and Sunday, June 2 and 3, 11 am - 4 pm, with plenty of C15th fun, including crafts, games, living history and an authentic puppet show. There will be Tales of Monastery Life with the Harlech Medieval Society at St. Davids Bishop's Palace on Saturday and Sunday, June 9 and 10, 11 am - 4 pm. Meanwhile, theatre company Anvil Productions present their version of The Taming of the Shrew at St. Davids Bishop's Palace on Wednesday, June 27, 7 pm, and Cilgerran Castle on Thursday, June 28, 7 pm. The Household of Rhys ap Thomas demonstrate the skill of late C15th archers at St. Davids Bishop's Palace on Saturday, June 30, and Sunday, July 1, 11 am - 4 pm.
