FORMER councillor Wynne Evans has recently been nominated for a prestigious award for his work in recent times in supporting and setting-up new business initiatives and enterprises in and around the South Wales valleys region.

“I have been working closely with over 18 new start-ups,” said Wynne.

“The aim is to create sustainable employment and growth within technology, food and drink and health sectors, mainly working with people who have recently been made redundant or on long-term unemployed.”

The scheme was set-up by HRH The Prince of Wales and covers all of Wales.
