The 4th Tenby Guides have recently packed shoe boxes for 'Operation Christmas Child', sending Christmas gifts to children in distress or poverty throughout the world.

The Guides have enjoyed a busy term. They began with an enjoyable evening at Harbour View Ceramic Cafe and attending a Greenhill School Orchestra performance conducted by Grant Llewellyn. The Lion patrol organised a Hallowe'en disco, while the Panda Patrol held a fashion show of recycled clothing.

Money raised has been donated to UNICEF Afghanistan Appeal and the Chemo Day Unit at Singleton Hospital.

Guides are presently rehearsing Christmas carols and will be entertaining the residents at Park House Nursing Home. The term will finish with a fancy-dress Christmas party.
