Tenby's all-weather lifeboat, the Tamar class Haydn Miller, had a busy morning last Thursday when it was launched twice.
Firstly they went to the assistance of a 17-foot fishing boat named Dory, out of Burry Port, with three persons aboard. The boat had suffered engine failure two miles off Pendine.
The vessel was towed back to Tenby harbour, with the Tenby Coastguard team also on hand to administer safety advice.
Later in the morning, the lifeboat went to the aid of local charter fishing boat, Four Brothers, with 12 passengers aboard.
The boat had suffered engine failure off Monkstone Point, with the anglers transferred to the lifeboat for safety and the vessel along with the owner towed back to Tenby harbour.
