Swimming Gala

Templeton School held its inter-house swimming gala at Narberth Swimming Pool recently. All the children who took part did extremely well and were a real credit to themselves and the school. The eventual winners of this year's Swimming Trophy were Poyer House. The school would like to thank Mrs. Scourfield who always goes above and beyond to make sure that this event runs smoothly and also the staff of Narberth Swimming Pool who always offer their support on the day.

Netball Tournament

An afternoon of lovely weather saw the schools inter-house netball tournament. Once again the children all performed really well and it was a closely fought contest with Poyer House once again emerging as the eventual winners.

Dance Workshop

Dancers from JooNDance came in to Templeton School to give our Year 5 and Year 6 the chance to try out JooN's funky style which fuses contemporary, breaking and capoeira techniques. The children had a fantastic time with the two dance instructors and they would like to say a big thank you to them for coming to the school.

Coastguard Visit

Sycamore Class were fortunate enough to have a visit from the coastguard recently. Mr. David Miller gave a very informative talk and warned the children not only about the obvious, but also the hidden dangers of the coast and the water. He very kindly gave all the schoolchildren wristbands and lifeguard information that they could use for themselves throughout the summer holidays.
