Pembrokeshire establishment The Stackpole Inn has made a national awards list of the best pubs across the UK.

A total of 94 pubs from across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have been selected as the best in their area by the ‘National Pub and Bar Awards’ and will now have the chance to be named the best in their region.

The awards, organised by ‘Pub and Bar’ magazine, will see the 94 County Winners entered into and invited to the grand final, which takes place at London’s iconic BAFTA theatre on Tuesday, May 24.

On the evening, 12 Regional Winners and one overall National Pub & Bar of the Year will be announced.

“These pubs represent all that is great about the modern on-trade. You can only imagine the fantastic variety of operations we have discovered through the judging process – it’s been an absolute pleasure to investigate just how all of these incredible operators run their businesses,” said Tristan O’Hana, editor of Pub and Bar magazine.
