St. Brides Spa Hotel is celebrating after receiving nationwide recognition for its Marine Spa after being named ‘Best Spa in Wales’ and ‘Best Spa in the UK and Ireland’ at two national independent award ceremonies.
St. Brides Spa Hotel was awarded ‘Best Spa in Wales,’ at the national annual Good Spa Guide Awards 2016. The Good Spa Guide are independent spa experts and the annual awards, now in their sixth year, showcase excellence in the world of spa. The award-winning spas were announced during a gala dinner at Spa Life, Telford.
The Good Spa Guide uses its bubble system to indicate their verdict on each spa it visits. They assess hundreds of spas each year on 80 different aspects from design and maintenance to customer service and of course the standard of facilities and treatments.
Following their visit to St. Brides Spa Hotel, they awarded their top bubble rating of ‘5 Bubbles,’ and commented: “The jewel in St. Bride’s crown really is the infinity hydro-pool. The warm outdoor salt pool overlooks the stunning coast; it almost feels like there is nothing separating you from the ocean below… the spa is a great size and the treatment was exemplary.”
The second award to be received by St. Brides Spa Hotel was ‘Pampered Guest - Best Spa,’ awarded by ‘Best Loved Hotels’ at a glittering awards ceremony at Luton Hoo Hotel Golf and Spa in Bedfordshire.
Best Loved Hotels comprises a collection of over 200 hand-picked independent hotels throughout Britain and Ireland. The Best Loved Hotel Awards celebrate excellence across a variety of categories throughout their prestigious portfolio of properties. The Awards are voted for by Best Loved loyal customers who have stayed and experienced ‘best in class’ stays.
Andrew Evans, owner of St. Brides Spa Hotel, commented: “It is absolutely fantastic to receive two prestigious awards in two days, a well-deserved recognition for our fantastic team.”
St. Brides Spa Hotel is a luxury destination escape retreat, with breath taking views overlooking Saundersfoot and Carmarthen Bay. The award-winning Marine Spa offers guests a luxurious sanctuary of calm and tranquillity, and provides guests with the perfect retreat to relax and unwind in soothing treatments. The Spa has been designed for the spa connoisseur, with Wales’ only infinity edged hydrotherapy pool offering spectacular views of Saundersfoot.
Earlier this year, a beautiful new relaxation area was created in the spa to further enhance guests’ enjoyment of the spectacular views on offer. Not resting on their laurels, the new Cliff Restaurant will re-open in December following an extensive refurbishment and extension making the most of the panoramic view and Saundersfoot Harbour and coastline.
