BORDESSA Holidays has just opened its third Shop as the multi-award-winning Travel Agency, already established in Carmarthen and Llanelli, arrives in Tenby.

Bordessa is an independent, family-run Agency. They are so pleased to be opening in Tenby; meeting a lot of customers who have already been with them over the last 12 years but also joining the Tenby community.

When Chris and Mair started Bordessa Holidays in December 2014, they operated it from their garage. Over the years, word got out about Bordessa Holidays’ excellent customer service and the business started to progress. They opened an office in Carmarthen Town four years ago: with seven staff the garage was feeling a little crammed! Then in June 2025 they opened a shop in Crown Parade, Llanelli.

With a great Sales team and Aftersales team they are smashing it for 2025/2026. Chris and Mair’s son Devan works on the Aftersales team.

Bordessa Holidays has been shortlisted the Top Travel Agency Top 50 Awards. They are currently in the Top 5 Travel Agencies in Wales so fingers crossed for them in the awards, which are soon to be announced in Manchester.

The Agency has already won awards this year, winning Bespoke Travel agency with Prestige Awards Wales in February. At the Swansea Bay Business Awards in March they were Highly recommended Family business and won the Retail Business of the Years so was a great night for them.

And most recently, in Haverfordwest for the Business Growth West Wales region, they won the Weddings and Events Category.

July will bring another big change for the Bordessa Holidays team when they will be moving the Carmarthen office onto the high street (Blue Street, Carmarthen) where they footfall would be much better and the property will have more space for the growing team. As for the Tenby office, Mandy Evans will be the manager there; she’s been in the Travel industry for nearly 20 years. Mair will be there for the next 4/6 weeks until there is another member of the team to join Mandy in the shop.
