The warm Pembrokeshire welcome served up at Tenby’s award-winning Giltar Hotel has earned it a new accolade.

In the recent 102.5 Radio Pembrokeshire Business Awards, the superb Victorian seafront hotel won the best customer service award.

Business partners Malcolm Brace and Patrick Jenkins have always prided themselves on the personal and friendly way that they and their staff treat guests, and this has now been rewarded with the recognition from Radio Pembrokeshire.

Said Malcolm: “Patrick, myself and the team at The Giltar are delighted to have won this award, which is a true reflection on the quality of service which we offer our guests.

“Our aim is for each of our guests to feel like they are our only customers; for our staff to be attentive and welcoming and doing all we can as a business to make each and every visitor feel that we’re a real home from home.”

The Giltar has previously won the categories for Food and Drink and Leisure and Tourism at the Radio Pembrokeshire awards after being shortlisted by a panel of business experts and voted for by the station’s listeners.

It has also won four Wales in Bloom titles for its magnificent floral displays.

Reviewers of the hotel on Trip Advisor have praised The Giltar for its ‘superb staff,’ saying ‘the owners truly care about your stay,’ with one adding: ‘Thank you for making our special occasion even more special.’
