Police are investigating after a bus driver was assaulted.

The man was driving the 381 bus from Haverfordwest to Tenby through New Hedges on September 5 when he was headbutted by a male passenger.

The assault occurred at approximately 9.45 am near to the former Sundowner Motel, New Hedges.

The offender is described as white, aged in his late 40s-50s, and was of stocky build, bald and carrying a fishing rod.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
