Brooklands Nursing Home recently celebrated for Nutrition week Time for Tea with cakes made by clients and relatives, surrounded by bunting made from friends and family, plus country and western singing and entertainment from Ian Robertson.
Clients made their own hats and dressed up in bow ties and jewellery for the ladies, while dancing to the music. A good time had by all.
Friday saw Brooklands stage an Easter parade. There were Easter bonnets made by residents for the staff to wear as well. All residents enjoyed making Easter cakes to give to the staff as a big thank you. Easter eggs, given by the lovely Easter bunny, and a cinema screening of the Easter parade added to the festivities.
On Monday, Brooklands made the most of this lovely Bank Holiday weather with music in the sensory garden with rock 'n' roll dancing and flowing ice-cream going down well.
Brooklands would like to thank Robbie Gould, Grans Allowed and a special thank you to Sandalwood and wish them all the best for their retirement.
