Pembrokeshire County Council and Pembrokeshire and Derwen NHS Trust have been awarded a SWWITCH Bronze Award for travel planning in readiness for the new Health and Social Care Resource Centre in Pembroke Dock. The award acknowledges that the Project's Transport Sub Group has completed a Travel Plan to an acceptable standard. SWWITCH (South West Wales Integrated Transport Consortium) Travel Plan Awards recognise excellence in travel planning through a range of different levels of achievement. To achieve the Bronze Award, the Project Sub Group were required to show that their Travel Plan included details of current situation, where the project wants to be, how the project will get there, and who will help. "This is an excellent achievement and recognition of our commitment to travel planning within the authority," said Clr. Brian Hall, cabinet member for transportation and environment.
