Britain in Bloom judging in Tenby will take place next month, with a rallying cry to all residents and businesses to help maintain the standard set over recent years in the resort.

“Our Deputy Mayor and chairman of Tenby in Bloom, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, has issued a plea for people to maintain the standards set in the town before judges are welcomed on Friday, August 5,” the town clerk, Andrew Davies, told his colleagues at Tuesday night’s meeting of the town council.

“The Wales in Bloom judges were in town last week, on what proved to be a wet day in Tenby, but were once again very impressed with the work that has gone on in the resort,” he added.
