Safer Pembrokeshire has joined forces with South Hook to give primary school children fluorescent vests.

South Hook has funded over 5,000 of the vests which will be issued to schools throughout the county.

At Tenby Junior School (pictured), the jackets will be put to good use with their policy of trying to get children to walk to school and also for the annual Tour De Tenby bike ride which attracts over 300 children. 

Pupils were presented with the vests by PCSO Idwal David who is also a community governor of the school.
