Well-known local author Brian John will be in town on Thursday, September 27, when he will reveal why he was impelled to write a series of five novels using the voice and language of a woman.

The novels are of course those featured in the Angel Mountain Saga which have proved so popular with readers. The saga covers the life and times of Mistress Martha Morgan and is set in the rugged Carningli countryside in North Pembrokeshire, where the author happens to live.

The author's 'sense of place' will also be explored, as will the myths and legends which he was inspired to weave into his narrative. There will be an opportunity to ask questions, so why not pop along to Church House, Upper Frog Street, Tenby, at 4 pm, on September 27. The event is one of many in Tenby Arts Festival.
