BREAKFAST Week was tastefully marked for Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority members with a late breakfast at lunchtime - with all the food made from local produce. Farm liaison officer Mary Davies - a farme's wife - served up a special 'brunch' of savouries and cakes, helped by conservation section colleague Julie Webber. Park Authority chairman, Clr. Stephen Watkins, voted the 'brunch' a very tasty success and thanked Mary for her idea and her cooking skills. Said Mary: "I wanted to mark Breakfast Week by highlighting the excellent range of produce available locally. Everything that was prepared was sourced in this area and included butter from Bethesda Milk and meat from Bethesda Meat, both of Bethesda, near Clynderwen; organic eggs from Knock Farm. Llawhaden; cheese from Llangloffan and preserves from Sharons of Broad Haven." The Breakfast Lunch was held following a meeting of the National Park Authority and members are already looking forward to next year's Breakfast Week!
