What a beano

Last Sunday saw many members of Tenby Bowling Club on tenterhooks, wondering if they might strike it lucky in the club's Chrismas draw.

All monies put into the draw were ploughed into a vast quantity of goodies suitable for the festive holidays.

Working on the principle that you get out what you put in, several members managed quite a haul. The luckiest group were the whist players who did very well.

Everything ran very smoothly thanks to the draw organisers, Lyn Delabertouche (purchasing manager), John Baggott (keeping score), David Spencer (i/c electronic equipment operator), Ysie White and Joe Richards (labellers) and everyone else assisting with the draw sheets, which is all part of the fun.

Bonus ball winners

Wednesday, December 17 - Lee Richards; Saturday, December 20 - Ann Oliver.
