Internal facelift

I understand that club captain, Tony Brown, having recovered from an hectic season's bowling, has plans in the pipeline for refurbishing the first floor bar/lounge.

I know that the carpet is 25-years-old and it seems like a good time to repaint now that smoking has been banned in the club. Any member willing to help Tony on a voluntary basis will be more than welcome.

Darts

Our darts team has been in action, played twice, lost twice, but Tony tells me that they are all very optimistic. The team - Mike Gouldingay (captain), Brian Spencer, Ashley Hooper, John Roberts, Archie Rafferty and Tony Brown - keep the bowling club flag flying every Friday as they practice the delicate art of arrow throwing. Playing in the Tenby and District League, they have alternate home and away matches, being home tonight.
