Nick Bourne, leader of the Welsh Conservatives in the National Assembly and Assembly Member for Mid and West Wales, has written to Pembrokeshire County Council to object to plans to erect a TETRA mast in Penally. "There is considerable concern locally about the proposal to erect a TETRA communication mast in Penally, " he said. The proposed mast will be placed alongside a charitable respite care home continuously used by severely disabled children. I am very concerned about the long term health implications of exposure to these high frequency emissions on people and, in particular, on children. Children with special needs are especially susceptible and vulnerable and I have written today to Pembrokeshire County Council to register my total opposition to this proposal."
