Whitland moved into the semi-finals of the Pembrokeshire Knock Out Cup with a comfortable victory against St. David's on Friday. On what was a bitterly cold night, the Borderers outscored their spirited north county opponents by six tries to none. Five of the tries came in the first half, effectively killing off the game, two by scrum-half Andrew Jenkins, two by winger Dion Thomas and one by flanker Ryan Michael. Aled Davies adding one conversion. In the second half, playing against a very strong wind, Whitland only managed to cross for a further unconverted try by second row Tom Dinan.
