Members of the Jeffreyston Inn Boat Owners Club take the strain as they take part in Saturday's Kevin Baskerville Memorial Boat Pull. As part of RNLI Day, the 'pull' of a replica inshore lifeboat from Saundersfoot to Jeffreyston raised the magnificent sum of £1,088.40 for the RNLI. The event, held for the first time last year, was the idea of Kevin, a well-known local character, Falklands War verteran and supporter of the RNLI, who sadly passed away in November. Kevin's friends decided to carry on the tradition in his memory and the organisers were delighted that this year's total was 50 per cent up on the inaugural pull.
