Bluestone has launched the name of its first attraction, due to open next summer. The showpiece facility for Pembrokeshire's new short break destination will be called The Blue Lagoon. And in keeping with Bluestone's commitment to Pembrokeshire, its internal theme will reflect the county's marine life and heritage and will emphasise environmental and marine conservation. Pamela Joseph, commercial director at Bluestone, said: "Blue Lagoon is inspired by our special areas of conservation, our marine life and all things nautical. "The majority of visitors to the Blue Lagoon will come for a fun water park experience, but we also have the opportunity to make people aware of their impact on our marine environment." The all-weather Blue Lagoon will be open year round to visitors and will feature flumes, bubble pools, interactive children's play structure, a lazy river ride and the UK's largest indoor boogie wave. News on the construction, competitions and VIP tickets are some of the features which will be available to visitors on the new website at http://www.bluelagoonwales.com">www.bluelagoonwales.com

Counting down the minutes until Blue Lagoon opens its doors, next summer.
