Another football picture for you this week, although this time a slightly ‘newer’ one. This time it is of a young team from Saundersfoot School, who judging by the silverware were obviously a successful one. We are not sure of the year or names of the players. Perhaps our readers can help, as Brian Morgan has done after seeing last week’s ‘older’ picture of Carew Football Club. He believes the picture of the Carew team in our last issue was taken either in the late 1940s or early 1950s and features: back row - Will Harries, Maurice Griffiths, Albert Scourfield, Elwyn Henton, Penry Woodhouse, Mikel(?), Llewellyn Williams, ?, Fred Thomas, Stanley Scourfield; front - Tony Ollin, Tot James, Shaunt(?), ?, Harry Johnston. We are grateful to Brian, who himself later went on to play for the club for many years, after taking over in goal from Penry Woodhouse.
