Pictured is Ken Neale, of Redberth, with his grandson Liam, at Ken's recent surprise 70th birthday party at the Blueball Restaurant, Tenby.
No gifts were requested by Ken's family, instead, they asked friends and family if they wished to make a donation to Ouch, an organisation for the understanding of cluster headaches.
Liam has suffered with such headaches for the last two-and-a-half years. They are so debilitating that he has only been in school for about five weeks in that time.
Ken's wife Vera felt that by raising money for the charity in this way, it would help not only gain awareness of Ouch, but raise funds to help the charity in their work to help other families in similar situations, as well as aiding research into the illness.
The sum is £465 was raised and Ken would like to thank everyone for their generosity.
