WHEN Mrs. Olwydd James, of Whitland, celebrated her 80th birthday recently, she asked relatives and friends not to buy her presents.
Instead she asked them to make voluntary contributions to the Noah's Ark Appeal, raising the magnificent total of £400 in the process.
Mrs. James would like to thank everyone for their generosity and also for the host of cards and flowers she received.
