Tenby and Manorbier Coastguard rescue teams, together with the South Pembs Sector manager, were tasked to a report of a male collapsed on Manorbier beach, on Saturday.

Ambulance personnel and Helimed 57 attended the incident which occurred at around 4 pm, and gave the 76-year-old man medical treatment prior to him being airlifted to Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest, for assessment.

The casualty was holidaying in the area from Derbyshire.
