This month, galleries, museums, heritage sites and other locations across the nation will be hosting drawing sessions for all ages as part of the sixth Big Draw. Tenby Museum and Art Gallery is one place in the country participating in this event.

Tomorrow (Saturday), local artist Susan Sands is putting on an event as part of this Campaign For Drawing.

Susan will be offering her artistic expertise on the subject of portraiture and as part of the campaign's encouragement in experimenting with various mediums, she will be concentrating her attention on the use of charcoals.

There will be the opportunity to draw from life, as a model, museum volunteer Doug Perry, has been recruited to pose in fishermen's oilskins. The event is on a first come first served basis and runs from 10 am to 2 pm.
