Sir, I am writing to ask your readers to take up the Ben Nevis Challenge and climb Britain's highest mountain in aid of Breast Cancer Care on October 6 and 7. Having had breast cancer myself, I feel very passionately that nobody should face a breast cancer diagnosis alone. Thankfully Breast Cancer Care is there to support people and their families every step of the way by offering emotional and practical support when and where they need it most. But there are still so many people who haven't heard of Breast Cancer Care, or who haven't used their services, which is why I am calling on you all to raise money for this good cause. Many of the people taking part will have breast cancer themselves, others will be joining in for fun and to offer their support to the 44,000 people who are diagnosed with breast cancer each year. If you would like to find out more about the Ben Nevis Challenge, call 0845 092 0805 or visit http://www.breastcancercare.org.uk/events">www.breastcancercare.org.uk/events. Please help Breast Cancer Care make a difference and sign up today..... Good luck! Sheila Hancock
