An appeal has been made to the Planning and Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW) against the decision of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority to refuse to grant planning permission to turn the former RNLI inshore lifeboat hut at Tenby harbour, into a takeaway food outlet.
The appeal lodged by applicant Ruby Goodrick, will be determined on the basis of written representations.
The applicant had applied for a change of use to turn the former RNLI storage hut into a takeaway cold food outlet, which would operate between the hours of 10am and 10pm, seven days a week.
Tenby Town Council objected to the application, and the plans were turned down by PCNPA’s development management committee in March, 2025.
Since then, the applicant has opened ‘Trulys Sandwich Shop’ on South Parade.
