During last summer, St. Mary’s Church Handbell Ringers performed on a regular basis outside the Town Hall in Pembroke. Local shoppers and holidaymakers enjoyed these performances and showed their appreciation by generously donating to them. The group decided to give this money to a worthwhile charity and chose the Wales Air Ambulance.
At a recent practice session in St. Mary’s Church, Pembroke, Val Randall handed over a cheque for £200 to Wales Air Ambulance volunteer, Rita Evans, who thanked them and explained that this organisation relies solely on donations such as theirs to keep the lifesaving helicopters flying over Wales.
