This month sees another of the ever-popular fly- fishing courses taking place at Dwr Cymru Welsh Water's scenic Llys-Y-Fran reservoir. The 'Taste of Trout' lessons provide beginners with an excellent opportunity to learn the skilled art of fly-fishing, supplied with all necessary equipment and guided by an expert tutor. The course takes place today (Friday), beginning at 10 am in front of the Visitor Centre. The cost of the course is £10, which includes casting tuition, a two-fish bag limit and the use of equipment. In addition, participants will be required to purchase an EA day rod licence, which is available from any post office, for use on the day. Site controller John Sampson said: "These courses are always very popular and places are taken quickly. It's the perfect opportunity for people to learn the art of fly-fishing in an absolutely stunning setting." Due to the popularity of the course and limited numbers, people are advised to ring 01437 532694 to reserve a place in advance and avoid disappointment.
