'Beatlemania' hits Narberth on Saturday, March 10, when one of the UK's top Beatles tribute bands, The Complete Beatles, visit the Queen's Hall for a night of pure 60s nostalgia. The band, who come from the famous Liverpool suburb of Wolverhampton in the West Midlands!, have just finished a successful and critically acclaimed theatre tour with Gerry and the Pacemakers called 'Back to the Cavern' with the man himself Gerry Marsden. Carl Windsor, who plays 'John', said: "Performing with Gerry was fantastic and a real privilege for us. He was best mates with John Lennon during their times in Hamburg and of course the Cavern and some of the stories he told us about the Beatles, Brian Epstein and the times they spent together were amazing." The Complete Beatles specialise in the music of early years and arguably their most popular era. Steve Hill, who plays 'George', continued: "We prefer to play everything completely live, no backing tracks, just a pure live sound, which hopefully captures the atmosphere and excitement of a 'real' Beatles theatre show all those years ago. We are really looking forward to performing and meeting the people in Narberth and to transporting them back to the 'Swinging Sixties'. It will be a great show so make sure you don't miss it." The band have a very busy 2007, with visits to Singapore, China, Brunei and the Philippines planned for later this year.
