Meadowhouse Caravan Park, Amroth, recently held a balloon race. The event was organised by Mrs. Rhoda Waddington, an employee of Barclays Bank Plc. This event then qualified for the Barclay £ for £ matched fund-raising scheme which doubled the amount raised to £400. The photograph shows the park manager, Mr. Chris Kindred, handing over the cheque to Mr. Fred Broomhead from Tenby Lifeboat Station. The event organisers would like to thank BOC Sureflow for kindly donating the helium gas and the balloons.
