SWANSEA'S 'Ballet Russe'‚ the classical dance company of Wales, will be performing Dylan and Caitlin‚ a new ballet, on the life of Dylan Thomas, in the Queen's Hall, Narberth, this (Friday) evening at 7.30 pm.

'Ballet Russe', made up of principal dancers, all highly trained in the Russian Classical style, and all of whom are graduates from the Kirov or Bolshoi Ballet Academies, and former dancers with famous Russian ballet companies, have just come back in great form for their new season touring Wales and the UK.

Based in the Grand Theatre, Swansea, they have been delighting audiences for four years now, with their classical repertoire.

Dylan and Caitlin was first performed at the Dylan Thomas Festival on the opening night of the newly-opened Millennium Hall in Laugharne, to a standing ovation in August this year.

Aeronwy Davies, Dylan's daughter, attended and said she was moved by the ballet and thought the company "marvellous."

This is a special gala night, including adagios from well known ballets such as Swan Lake, Faust, Carmen, and La Fille Mal Gardée. Tickets are £12 and £10 concessions, children under 12, £5.
